Σε ένα μήνα, πιο συγκεκριμένα την Παρασκευή 17 Ιανουαρίου, θα ανακοινωθούν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα φετινά βραβεία Οσκαρ. Αλλά πριν από αυτό, χτες η Ακαδημία ανακοίνωσε τις λίστες σε δέκα κατηγορίες με τις ταινίες που περνάνε στην φάση πριν ανακοινωθεί η τελική ομάδα υποψηφίων σε κάθε μια από αυτές.
Αυτές οι κατηγορίες είναι τα Ντοκιμαντέρ, Διεθνής Ταινία, Μικρού Μήκους Ντοκιμαντέρ, Μακιγιάζ και Κομμώσεις, Μουσική και Τραγούδι, Animation Μικρού Μήκους, Ηχος, Οπτικά Εφέ και Μικρού Μήκους. Μετά το όλο φιάσκο που έγινε τον Σεπτέμβριο με την επιλογή της «Φόνισσας» της Εύας Νάθενα από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού ως την επίσημη υποβολή της Ελλάδας στα Οσκαρ, η ταινία δεν κατάφερε να περάσει στις 15 ταινίες στην κατηγορία της Διεθνούς Ταινίας.
Κάθε λίστα αποφασίστηκε από μέλη της κατηγορίας υπό βράβευση, εκτός από την κατηγορία της Διεθνούς Ταινίας στην οποία καλούνται μέλη από όλες τις κοινότητες ακαδημαϊκών μελών. Διαβάστε αναλυτικά παρακάτω τις λίστες.
