Shooting locations include Chicago, Los Angeles and Greece.
The 2012 LA Greek Fest will kick off May 31 and will keep going until June 2, 2012, proving the American Dream is still going strong. “We love the upbeat message of the film, especially when Greeks are undergoing such financial strains at home,” said Ersi Danou, co-founder and artistic director of the festival.
The film showcase, now on its 6th consecutive year, is also organizing a Theo Angelopoulos Tribute on June 3rd at the Linwood Dunn Theater, which includes “Ulysses’ Gace”, as well as a special seminar lead by Fred Linch, former president of the Palm Springs International Film Festival and film theorist extraordinaire.
