Karlovy Vary 2012 Awards: the “Boy Eating the Bird´s Food” protagonist shines

The 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival awards Yannis Papadopoulos, the “Boy Eating the Bird´s Food” leading man, with a special mention

After ten consecutive days, the 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival came to a close with Woody Allen´s “To Rome With Love” and the awards ceremony, honoring winners in all categories, topped off by the Official Competition Section.

Yannis Papadopoulos, the star of “Boy Eating the Bird´s Food” by Ektoras Lygizos (click here to read more about the film), was among the lucky few, walking away with a special mention for his unique performance, a validation for both his talent and the director´s choice to build the entire movie around him.
