A group of men is returning from a winter fishing trip on a yacht. When a mechanical problem leaves them trapped on their boat, somewhere in the gulf of Saronikos, they will kill their time playing a game they devise called Chevalier. Chevalier is an entertaining and highly competitive game. No one intends to get off the yacht without being crowned its winner.

This is the official synopsis of Athina Rachel Tsangari’s new film ‘Chevalier’. The screenplay was written by Efthimis Filippou (‘Dogtooth‘, ‘Alps‘, ‘L‘) and the director and stars Yiorgos Kentro, Panos Koronis, Vaggelis Mourikis, Yiorgos Pirpasopoulos, Sakis Rouvas and Yannis Drakopoulos, Nikos Orfanos and Kostas Filippoglou.

The film will be produced by Faliro House Productions (producer: Christos V. Konstantakopoulos) and Haos Film (producer: Maria Hatzakou) with support from the Greek Film Center and will be distributed by Feelgood Entertainment.

‘Chevalier’, Athina Rachel Tsangari’s third feature length film, begins filming four years after ‘Attenberg’, which has won international acclaim.
